WHO
This website was produced and is maintained by the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG), funded in whole through funds provided by the Department of Homeland Security. NCTCOG is a voluntary association of, by and for local governments, and was established to assist local governments in planning for common needs, cooperating for mutual benefit, and coordinating for sound regional development.
HOW
A three-year period was provided to meet established milestones and achieve the goal of enhancing community resilience through thoughtfully developed educational materials, engaging presentations, and interactive workshops.
WHY
As disasters are occurring more frequently, it is essential to be able to care for yourself and your community in those critical moments before help arrives. That's why we're here, to help families prepare today so they will be ready for tomorrow.
